Reset Space for Schools

Australian Curriculum HPE Alignment

Reset Space supports key elements of the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 Health and Physical Education Personal, Social and Community Health strand across Years 5–8.

The same core wellbeing concepts are differentiated through the depth of questioning, complexity of the scenarios and learning expected at each band level.

How learning develops across Years 5–8

Years 5–6

Students explain, investigate, apply and practise wellbeing concepts and strategies in familiar situations.

Years 7–8

Students extend their learning by analysing influences, devising and evaluating strategies, and applying them to more complex personal and social situations.

The curriculum links shown represent the strongest areas of alignment. Reset Space supports significant elements of the Personal, Social and Community Health strand but is not presented as a complete Health and Physical Education curriculum.
